To register to vote, you have a few options:
1) You can register to vote online at the portal of the Secretary of State; you will need a RI driver’s license or state ID number to do so. Or,
2) You can download the pdf (available tin English and Spanish) on the Secretary of State’s website and mail it to your local board of canvassers. You do not need a license or state ID number for mailed-in registrations. OR
3) You can register at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
